I am loving this thread.
Partly for the information provided and partly as reinforcement of the subjective nuances of the terms chareidi, laid back chareidi, chardal, chardal yet machmir, yeshivish.
I love Israel and the people that live here.

Except it's not. Chardal is Charedi Dati Leumi (isn't it?). The Ulpana is settler youth ideology.

From my experience Noar Hagvaot is super chardal. Meaning, very very committed to halacha, follwing strict psikot on various issues (kashrut, shabbat, etc. but especially tzniut).
