I'm coming to Beitar for Shabbos iyh- staying with Israeli family there.
If I'm in the mood of English-speaking company for myself and my son on Shabbos afternoon, which park is the place to go?
Thanks in advance!

Where in Beitar are you going to be? It is a pretty big city...

It's in the Emunas Yisroel neighborhood.

I live on the other side of the city, but am assuming that you will be Emunas Yisroel shul, since I don't know of an Emunas Yisroel neighborhood.

You should be near a couple big parks, though it is not a hugely anglo area. Behind Rami Levi is a huge and really fun park at the end of Yismach Yisroel. There is another big park that you can get to by cutting through from Mezritch. It is at the end of Yisod HaAvodah, by Pachad Yitchok. I imagine that your hosts should be able to point you in the right direction.

Have a great shabbos.

Yeah, I meant the shul. Sorry.
So you're saying it's not a very American neighborhood?

There are some Anglos there, but no, I wouldn't consider it a very Anglo neighborhood.

Smile You can still have fun. There are some nice people there and great parks. There will likely be some English speakers around.

if you want you can walk to reitport (a 5 minute walk) - there's a large group that gathers every shabbos afternoon.

PM me if you want to come over

I'm in B but not sure where you are staying
