Does anyone know if most hotels have WiFi accessibility in the actual rooms?
I am looking for a hotel to stay in in a few months time, but need one that will have WiFi readily available.
Preferably in the Jerusalem area.

It totally depends on the hotel.

most hotels should have WIFI. But it may be an additional cost.

They have wifi, but it's generally not free.

Unfortunately, most Jerusalem and Tel Aviv hotels have no free wifi in the rooms. You have to pay for it. They usually have free but weak wifi in the lobbies.
On the other hand, most cafes offer free wifi, so you can check your email and scan the news over a cup of coffee.
The Atlas hotels (Harmony and the new Arthur) cater to a younger crowd and offer free WiFi.

I'm sure the hotels mention it on their sites.
Like dr. Mom said, most cafes and restaurants have wifi, if that helps.

I've yet to be in a hotel room where FREE wi-fi is offered. However, it's usually readily available in the lobby. At one of our past stays this summer, my son was able to access free wi-fi in our room with his ultra modern smart phone. DH and I couldn't with ours.
