My dd has expressed an interest in taking art classes. Does anyone have any experience sending to an art class? I'd appreciate any recommendations and information.

I've gone to art classes. you want to find out if the students are allowed to create art on their own or are given outlines to fill in. you want the independence.
some art museums give art classes for kids. call around. those would be a lot better than a lot of what's offered around the neighborhood.

I'm not the OP, but yes, please- I'd appreciate the number if you can find it... I'm looking for a male to give art lessons for a bar mitzvah age boy.
