My son is in fifth grade and the principal is giving me a choice to change him to the parallel class. I know my son isn't so keen on the idea, how should I approach or suggest it? I know I shouldn't force him, should I bribe him and with what. ( the other class is a calmer and not such a clicky class)

if your son is happy why are you bothering ... you can't really control his friends - those type of interferences will backfire on you ...

He is happy yes but academically he's not doing good. He rather tries to impress friends than teacher..

Ask the school if they can give him a chance to prove himself. Tell your son that the rebbe is worried about his grades.

If he can't get his grades up and pay attention, he will be moved to the other class. He will not get a vote on this, but he will be in control of his behavior in the classroom and his academic achievements.
