How many pairs of shoes do you own?

How many pairs of shows do you own? and how many do you actually wear?

I have three pairs of shoes but I wear them all and my sister has 20 she only uses 3 or 4. Why buy so many to only wear it once or twice.

before I got married I had a lot more. I had disposable income. also before I was expecting I could wear heels etc. then they just got old and then last year I did a lot of walking. so comfort was more important than fashion. also I tended to wear shoes that I could throw on and run to the bus for the kids.

now I wear 3 pairs, bear paw boots, rain boots and nicer looking crocs- they are maryjane style.

I need to buy heels for weddings. and nicer looking comfortable flats.

I guessed ~15 pairs. Most are casual. I keep the dress-up stuff to a bare minimum. Let's see:

- 3 prs running shoes.
- 2 prs old running shoes (for hikes, wearing to work when I need to wear closed shoes in summer etc.)
- 2 pr casual sandals
- 2 pr water sandals
- 1 pr dress sandals
- 1 pr waterproof winter boots
- 1 pr slip-on winter clogs
- 1 pr closed shoes - casual
- 1 pr black pumps
- 1 pr dress boots
- 1 pr sneaker-type clogs/Sketchers

I voted 11-15 but honestly don't know.

I wear all my shoes some more than others especially since the majority are shabbos shoes or wedges.

Imelda Marcos was the head of the Phillipines and was renowned for having a ridiculous number of shoes. Not sure why the need to be anonymous to discuss it though.

I never counted my shoes, but I definitely have upwards of a hundred and fifty pairs. Poo poo poo. B'li ayin hara. Ken yirbu. Silly

probably about 15 or slightly more..too many. And it's not as if I get a chance to wear half of them.

On a regular basis, definitely not more than half of them.
I have quite a few pairs that were bought for specific dresses, so they're not really worn.
My daughter is looking forward to being my size. Smile

I own a ton of shoes and I wear them ALL! Very Happy

(Are we counting flip flops? Because I have at least 5 pairs of those. They don't count as real shoes to me.)

No idea. I wear almost all of them. The pairs I don't wear so often are seasonal.

I said 6-10 but I included my Muck boots (for wear in barn, chicken coop etc...) winter boots, and two pairs of house slippers in that count. Actual "shoes" is probably about 5 pairs weekday and shabbos. I wear shoes to death and then buy new ones. For example: I recently replaced my black shabbos shoes because they were very "holey".
