Hi does anyone know who does waxing in Chicago and isn't expensive?
I heard of a few salons but some are v. expensive while others look rather dirty.
Trying to find someone perhaps who does it privately in their home.... Or a clean salon that isn't crazily expensive.
Any leads?? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks

There is a salon at the Walmart on Touhy that I've used. Clean and not too expensive.
Idk what they're called, but you can call the store and ask.

I called Hairbase and Sanela - they seem very pricey!
No one does it privately?

go to Luna nails- I like Sally she is great, the place is clean and prices are decent

Honestly, for eyebrows, I use a salon that does threading on Devon. It's clean. It's neat, and it's $5.
Otherwise I've heard good things about Northshore nails salon and day spa. Daniela from Daniela.com is good.

I called daniela - left message. I tried Luna yesterday - honestly wasn't impressed. It's another typical Chinese/Korean salon
Any other leads would be appreciated!

There is someone who advertises in Jewish publications and calls herself Hair be Gone. Her name is Tzippy. I believe she does it in her home. I've never used her myself though. I don't want to put a phone number here, but if you don't have access to Acheinu or Only Ads, PM me for it.
