It was a clean bowl. I poured in the sugar and yeast slowly and didnt see any bug. Also o bug when I poured in the water. I left the bowl uncovered.
Just went to add the flour and noticed a small fly in the water. (I did not pour in any flour yet)
The bug was whole. Can I assume it just flew in? Can I still use the yeast? is it kosher? is it gross?

bde on the fly
I guess it depends on:
1) how much liquid you were able to take along with said fly [oh why did he die]
2) will it effect your budget [lack of money in a poor girl's world]
3) who is going to want to eat it afterward [I would - but nobody else would]
4) do you have more yeast [that would solve everything]

halachically I can't see it being an issue, however ask a dayan.
Scared it's gross? just don't tell anyone and hearty appetite!!!

just make a new yeast mixture. it only takes 2 mins.
