We recently got some baby gifts that had no markings saying who sent this particular gift. When you give gifts, please make sure that the card is attached to the present box, or that your name is written on the box itself somewhere. If you stick a card into the bag that also contains the gift box, it can get lost. Especially when all the bags are thrown out along the way. I have a few gifts that I can't send thank-you cards to the gift givers! Also, please write legibly. Someone gave us a gift with their name on a tag but we cannot read it (it's like doctor font). I feel bad because more than one person won't be acknowledged when we send thank-you cards.

you can send me a 'thank-you' card if it makes you feel better ... and a picture of the outfit/gift
in turn I will send you a 'thank-you' note telling you if I really like said outfit to be the gifter
of course I will be needing an additional 'thank-you' note for the 'thank-you' note, et cetera et cetera et cetera

I get that sometimes too. But I figure the type of person who is flaky enough to forget a card (ie me) is the type of person not to get worked up over not receiving a thank you card.

...or get. Just in case you don't like something (without a gift receipt), you don't pass it on to the person you got it from.

A tip I heard: wrap the gift, and write your name on the wrapping paper, then tape the card on top of your name. If the card falls off then at least they will know who the gift is from.
