Go to a 99c store and look around, you never know what you may come up with.

Firstly, get enough square silver mirrors for each tables.

Then get inexpensive vases or bowls (try Ikea). You can put some colourful marbles, fill halfway
with water and float either a few cut roses or tealight candles.

If you want something more exotic, scatter an assortment of spices in circles on the mirrors.
Use cinnamon sticks, star anice, cardamom, cloves, ginger. (WHOLE spices, not ground spices
as they'll stain tablecloths). You can get cheap spices in Indian shops along Wembley/Kingsbury.

Or get exotic looking light/see-through fabric, scrunch up in the middle.

If you're in London, try shops like Good 4 You or Tiger (North Finchley and near O2 Finchley Rd). They should have lots of decorative items.
You can do "flower arrangement" with different colour glowsticks in vases.

If you're in London, try Columbia Rd flower markets for good priced fresh flowers.
(They're originally for wholesalers/florists but most will sell bulk to retail shoppers.)
A large single calla lilly or dalia in a slender tall vase is also classy

Mazel tov!

My mother once collected pine cones and spray painted them gold and silver. She put them in black baskets decorated with silver and gold ribbon. It looked very elegant with coordinating tablecloths and napkins.
