Dr. Goldofsky ENT in Garden City

Has anyone ever used Dr. Goldofsky from Garden City? He's affiliated with LIJ. My 3 year old son will probably need to have his tonsils removed and I'm looking for a good ENT who accepts Oxford UnitedHealthCare. (Dr. Dolitsky came highly recommended to me but he doesnt accept our insurance Sad

I used him for my son about 18 years ago and he did a good job and came recommend then. So he definitely has a lot of experience and he was good then.

He treated my 10 year old and 4 year old, taking tonsils from my 10 year old. He was really nice, great slow and patient bed side manner. He didnt rush us out of appointments and really made me feel at ease about the surgery. This was this past october. Also the office staff is very nice. But be prepared to wait a long time.

My ped recommended him. We didn't end up using him because we would have had to wait 4 months for an appointment, and we got in sooner with the ped's other recommendation. I suppose if he's so booked, and my ped likes him, he must be good.
