I am looking into moving into the Raintree neighborhood of Lakewood.
I come from a more yeshivish background, but I myself am less yeshivish. For example I wear long sheitels and wear high heels heels daily with shorter skirts (but covering my knees of course). From what it sounds like, Raintree is a good fit for me. But my issue is that I am also looking to see if it is( for the the lack of a better word) easy to have a social life in the neighborhood. I am not the best at getting to know new people, so I'm wondering if woman (of of my type) get together, etc.. I know of course friends get together but are there "events" that make it easy for newcomers to get to know others (besides for shiurim) thanks
