Is it a Sephardic thing? It sounds so... I live in a country where 70 or so% of the Jews are Sephardic and I think I've heard the name somewhere...but I don't know what it is....

How do you do it? Salut
I'm in awe of Sefardic women who can bake right after Pesach.
By Shvii Shel Pesach I'm "all cooked out"!
(DH is Sefardic)

its a type of a celebration on the 8th day or (7th day in israel) of pesach, its a big celebration with a party, banquet something like that. this is the night of the 8th day after pesach, I think some sephardim do it, not all, either way its pretty cool.

I grew up with a few Morrocan girls who celebrated Mimouna-it's a Sephardic post-pesach celebration on Motzei Pesach.
From what I hear, it's really a beautiful celebration. Never been to one yet, though....
