Anyone have any ideas for mm that are inexpensive and elegant? I'm happy to do something homemade if it can be done in a large batch (ie. not a time consuming potchke). It doesn't need to be themed or anything, just something that would be appreciated without getting expensive. Thanks!

garlic knots
potato kugel
cupcakes/cake
salads- corn salad, potato salad, bean salad, pepper salad, pasta salad
cut fruit/ cut veggies with dip

how can you elegantly package muffins (or something else that can be made ahead and frozen)? what else would you put with it? thanks!

I'm pretty sure muffins freeze well. goes with cappuccino or OJ

I am always baking something. Never had a topic. This year I want to make small rainbow cakes and add a package of coloured popcorn. Never made this before, but thought it would look nice to give something colorfull. Want to pack it on anice plastic plate and wrap it in cellophane paper.
