I spent 25-30 per teacher and 20 per assistant. I was very happy with all the teachers and would have spent more if my budget allowed.

The class mother collected ten per teacher and ten per assistant. I didn't like the assistant but I gave the money for both and then bought the teacher a $35 gift certificate for mani/pedi bec she's just a fantastic teacher . I also gave $50 cash to teacher and $25 to assistant Purim time. If you can't afford to give anything, I think a nice note goes a long way.

I pay tuition and don't gift outside of my family and friends. especially not when it may mean making the other teacher(s) resentful, or giving to all of them.
That said if I did it, I would rather give the teacher "secretly", than have to give a teacher or assistant I do not like.

I gave $25 gift cards to my son's morah and assistant. I might have done more like $10 except I think they have gone above and beyond this year and I think they should be recognized for the love and attention they have given.
