We are moving to an apartment with hook up for, and space for, a large stackable washer/dryer. I need advice as I've never bought that before. We also want to go used if possible to save money. What are the options to look for and how do I choose? What do you recommend? TIA

Get a stackable , but make sure they are two different machines, they have sine that are physically connected , when one breaks both gave to thrown out.
Also make sure your dryer get a vent hook up to the outside as the internal vents leave lots of duet in your home.
