Dd, age 4, is confusing the daled, vov and zayin. Any tips I can give her to help her learn to differentiate?
Thanks

I use to teach kindergarten for many years.
When it came to Vov and Zayin, I had my students play a game.
When I said and showed them very skinny vov they had to stand very straight and skinny. When I said and showed them ziggly zayin they had wiggle around. After a few times I would only show them the card and they had to figure out to stand very straight or ziggle, wiggle around.
When it comes to the difference of daled and vov, make a few worksheet pages of only daled and vov and let her highlight the long top of the daled.
Third make a few worksheets with daled, vov and zayin, have here highlight the long top of daled with one color, and make a squiggly shape on the zayin, leave all the vov's alone.

Before I taught my kids the names of the letters, I made five flash cards of each letter and had them sort them out. Once they were able to sort them with no difficulty at all, I taught them the names and sound of the letters.
It worked well. For all. Similar looking letters.
