Hi, we are planning my oldest daughter's Bas Mitzva. Since most of the girls don't live especially close to us, we are inviting all of the girls (between 5 and 10) to sleep over for Shabbos. (Bas Mitzva celebration will be a Kiddush in Shul on Shabbos.) I am looking for some ideas for a "goody bag" to give to each girl when she arrives on Erev Shabbos. Anything cute I can think of, is muktza. Anyone have any ideas of things that would be cute to include? TIA

Something meaningful that I got at a shabbos bat mitzvah was an Aneni, I do think I was excited by it even then although I got much more use out of it at a later stage. Other judaica/sefer items can be nice like a tehilim, pirkei avos, pocket chumash....That can be with snacks/water bottle.

How about something to give them BEFORE the sleepover? You can have small tote bags made up cheaply with DDs name and date and whatever, then deliver the bags before shabbos and the girls can pack their sleepover stuff in it. Then when they get to your house, a smaller bag, also cheap, with a water bottle, hard candy, maybe something cute like an an eye mask or those soft slipper socks. The bag will add to the excitement of the shabbos before it even starts.

mini tehillim or mincha maariv
candy/chocolate/water bottle
hairbrush/hair clips/mirror
socks
maybe something to read, like a kids magazine. (you can ask them for some back copies)

What about getting them each an oogoolz set. It can be something they all wear during the shabbos and a nice gift to take home with them. They seem to be the new thing going around so may be fun. I saw the ad in binah and they have a pretty website oogoolz.com
