I read it. Imamother is, frankly, more interesting. Three Ladies, Three Lattes was like an old movie from central casting. Everyone did/said exactly what you expected them to do/say. At least here there are people who aren't "types." They are more real than the three ladies, in terms of having depth and nuance.
My apologies to anyone on this board who was involved in that book, but it never should have seen the light of day.
