I always substitute with rice milk because I actually dont like the citrusy taste.

Lemon juice (but use less), orange liqueur, or prepared coffee if the taste will work with the recipe.

Water works too in a pinch but doesn't give that added flavor.

as long as its not a plain pound cake you can use grape juice. The purple may add some color if there is no chocolate to hide it, but no one noticed any change in taste

Any other juice, (parve) milk or water.
If using water one can add vanilla essence for extra flavor.
