my dd, 4.5, was complaining that her mouth hurts.
She said only one cheek.
There is definitely a canker sore on that cheek, but nothing else, not on the tongue or the side, nothing on her hands or feet.

I will preface that I have absolutely no medical training.
I would not get overly concerned with just one canker sore on the cheek. Even if it is Coxsackie, from my understanding there is not much you can do except make sure that she doesn't infect anyone else as it is highly contagious. So for now, I would just monitor it and not let her share food with anyone.
