בס"ד

Dear Friends of the "G-d Direct Torah Community",

Right at this time last year a huge snow storm hit Jerusalem and her environs. We personally were without power for several days with our emergency generator going on and off constantly. And yet, amidst the snow flurries and high snow banks, there was a feeling of tremendous chesed and camaraderie among us. Today, we are not taking shelter from high winds or massive snow storms. Rather we are threatened by meat cleavers, shootings, stabbings and drive by attacks.

This year I learned something new about the 10th of Tevet: that today we are being judged as to whether or not we are worthy of having the Beis HaMikdash restored or remain destroyed. And yet, whether from blizzards or bloodshed, the indomitable spirit of Jewish Unity remains intact and stronger than ever before.

Just uploaded on the homepage of G-d Direct Torah you will find some fantastic shiurim (not to be missed Rabbi Yaakov Zalman Labinsky shares with us the deeper meaning of the 10th of Tevet, why it is considered a day of judgement, and what we can do practically to ensure our redemption), videos, and articles clarifying the deeper meaning of the 10th of Tevet with its awesome potential for Teshuva, for real change, and for a stronger commitment as Jewish Women uniting to make a real difference.

Also, l'kavod the 10th of Tevet, one of the women from our "G-d direct Community" has initiated a wonderful undertaking: "Please join in this special project for women in completing sefer tehillim together this asara b'teves - our unity is powerful! Please share this link with friends throughout the world." To sign up for your perek of Tehillim, click here.

This year through the power of our learning, sharing, davening, and giving chizuk to one another, we can make a difference and turn the destruction into re-building, turn the darkness into light, and strengthen our momentum for real change.

Have an easy fast and may we merit a favorable judgement to see our holy Beis Hamikdash rebuilt this year!

Devorah Yaffa

Please help me spread the word!

I heard from a very chashuv Rebbetzin that there is a big court case in Shamayim today to judge if the churban should continue this year or not.

We should all try to take upon ourselves a small improvement today to help accumulate merits in our favor!
