I was told that chaim walder has a book on bullying. but I cant find it online. can someone help me. does he have such a book called 'chaim the bully?' or did this person make a mistake? what book can you tell me is good for a 6yr old on bullying? its not a severe case here or I would be speaking with a therapist. its just to read to him on something related in a milder form I was told to read this book to him. so no advice about therapy and eval please.

In the course of the novel, which follows Tzviki from about 2nd grade (I think, it's been awhile) through bar Mitzvah, Tzviki deals with many issues, and bullying is one of them. It's an excellent book and as a read-aloud will provide good material fro discussion. You should read it yourself first in case you find any scenes too old or intense for your six year old.

I've seen ads recently for books on bullying, but I'm not sure if Chaim Walder is the author.

I'm waiting for it in yiddish... I hope they translate it, I love the idea.

Does it have a section/story on bullying?

There is a book by Shmil Walder (Chaim Walder's son I think ) that deals with bullying and is appropriate for a 6 year old. It's called the Truth about Strength.

THANK YOU SO MUCH LADIES, WOW SO MANY RESPONSES! it was mentioned chaim walder and rivka schonfeld so I had no idea I was probably looking for the wrong author. I guess I will look at both and see which suits best. thanks again I really appreciate it.
