I think I want to go short with my real hair. Currently it's like 2 inches long in a ponytail. I think it would be cute to go shorter but I'm nervous about if I will like it and how it will be under my sheitel. With super short hair it's easy to have under a sheitel but what about medium/short hairstyles that may fall out of a sheitel since they aren't long enough to keep in a ponytail? Any ideas of cute short haircuts that are also practical for keeping under a sheitel? Thanks!

You should try wig caps. They are great to keep hair in place, whichever length. I've had almost every length of hair from well below the waist to very short, and they always managed to do the trick.

I have very short hair. It's layered and streaked and I love it.
I'm able to put it into a tiny pony tail under my sheitel.

For hair that's too short to put into a ponytail, maybe a headband/wig grip would work?
