Has anyone had experience using a car mover to move your car across the USA?

I'm so nervous becuase I have to do it, and that's what I'm hearing from everyone.
Are there any companies that are reputable?

my sister's car got "lost" and it took a while to get it ... and my brother's expensive sports car with "winged" doors ... got ruined ... so ... hard to say ... look around ... better business bureau ... or keep asking ... you don't want the mileage accross country ... or you could hire a driver with a bus/plane ticket back ... don't really know what is worth it ...good luck ...

Don't the movers have insurance? Do they pay you back if something gets ruined?

How about Amtrak. You drive your car on the train and then ride the train to your destination and drive off in your car.
