As a couple pretty recently married (no kids yet) what can we do here just to spend the day, without spending to much money? The more local the better (meaning without traveling downtown/too far). Ideas?

Most things are downtown and you need to pay for parking. Navy pier is really nice, Lincoln park zoo, buckingham fountain... Which area will you be in?

Well, I actually live here, in the heart of the frum community, but it's my first summer being married and I want ideas of nice things that frum couples can do on a small budget.

Bowling, mini golf, dairy star...
You can do the scavenger hunt - I think it's called stray boots but that might be downtown... Sorry!
Marbles game store in old orchard sometimes has game night that you might want to join. That's free.
