Mylo Dweck Maternity has a great black pencil skirt- the company is MeMe.
They also have the classic HardTail black pencil skirt.
Both are good lengths but will probably be too tight to wear without a longer top. They are comfortable, too.

This won't work for OP since I am under 5 feet, but when I was in the market for one, I got this skirt http://amzn.to/1PeAqm3 although it was more than $20 cheaper back then. So for anyone shorter it may work. It has a kickpleat, not a slit, so I didn't need to do anything to make it tzniusdik. It's also lined and doesn't need a slip, unlike some of the skirts I got from frum brands.

Got two recently from a frum maternity store on coney and j. One is lined and is a bit nicer, one is a thicker material and is very comfortable.
