two days into the program.

Basically I have been eating no junk or processed anything for 2 days. No Dairy and No wheat. Also I make it a point to fill half my plate with veggies, 1/4 of my plate with protein and 1/4 of my plate with healthy carbs.

some snacks: fruit, popcorn, small portion of raisins and dark chocolate.
Enjoying my almonds!

mY face looks less puffy and I have more energy

Keep you all posted if this works!
So far ... I feel better (B'H)

I need to lose about 30 pounds ( but I will be happy if I lost 10 pounds in the next 6 weeks)

I am still including fruit and healthy whole grains in my diet. (Dr. Hyman advises to avoid those two groups while losing weight)

No restrictions, I am eating balanced meals and snacking when I want a snack.

My kitchen is a mess! Lots of cooking going on. Like a a healthy food terminal! Smile

Any one want to join in. You'll feel good within 3 hours! As soon as you start!

I resolved my type 2 over five years ago by eating very low carb. I also lost 100+ pounds and have maintained it.

I could not have done it with 1/4 plate of ‘healthy’ carbs. I eat high fat dairy and drink coffee. No sweetener.
