So, I cooked all morning and I forgot the fish! By this time I was so hot and "over cooking" that I decided to go buy already made gefilte fish take out. So, I went and got fish and it was so expensive!!! Normally I'd buy a frozen loaf for a little less than 5 dollars and now for less than half of that, I spent $9! Meanwhile, the guy already packed them up so I felt guilty saying that it was too expensive. Next time, I'll remember to cook it, or, just put on a pot to boil Smile.

Meanwhile, I told dh that I forgot to make it and he said don't worry about it this week, but I know how much he likes to have fish on shabbos so I went and got it. Too expensive! For boiled gefilte!

Everything premade cost good gelt. Sad

Maybe next time you'd rather get herring or jarred fish.
