Several times, but not very recently. What would you like to know?

Will a nine year old boy and five year old girl enjoy it? Is it a more than one day activity? Is there any kosher food in the vicinity ?

Nine year old, I think so.

Five year old - maybe, if she likes old-timey things. There's a lot of walking around.

For someone interested in American history who enjoys visiting historic sites - definitely more than one day. Probably too much for a five-year-old, though.

Busch Gardens amusement park and a water park are nearby.

Don't know about kosher food as we brought all our own food from home.

I hope this helps!

We are huge history fans.
We did two full days at Colonial Williamsburg with the day in between at Busch Gardens.
At the time, the pass for both parks, plus the water park, made it a great deal for the family.

As much as we loved it, I think that 5 is too young to really enjoy it. A seven or eight year old, especially one who has read the American Girl Felicity books, will get much more out of it.
At five, most of the cool factor-the wig maker, the bookbinder, getting to try out a quill with ink, will be lost on her.

Wait a few years. As for the food, none that I know of. We brought those double wrapped meal mart meals for the later days, and of course coolers.
