Hi. Id like to go to white post farm and sleep over in a hotel nearby. Anyone know of a nice hotel in long island not far from the farm? Also, anyone know of anything else in the neighborhood that I can with little kids?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I live on Long Island and I've never been to White Post Farms. I think some of my kids may have gone on school trips. Is it really worth schlepping from wherever you are and spending the night in a hotel?

How old are your kids? Maybe we can recommend some other places to go as well.

I live in the five towns and have been to the farm a few times and its a really cute day trip...but the hotel will cost you more then the actual outing...unless you have other plans for long island it may not be worth it...

I don't think there are any kosher restaurants near the farm. You'd need to go to the Five Towns.
When people talk about vacationing on LI, they usually mean the Hamptons. Long Beach, maybe. Not Melville.

There seems to be a Marriott in Melville, but I don't know anything about it.
Google "Things to do in Melville, LI." I tried it and didn't see much that was age appropriate besides White Post Farm.

We stayed in the Marriott it's decent and it's a nine minute drive from white post farm.
You have nearby: sky zone trampoline park (indoor)
Adventurland
Fun amusement (indoor arcade)

As far as eating I think you would have to travel to 5towns unless you find a kosher pizza shop near by, maybe google it

Were staying in a hotel which is also about 9 minut drive from the farm.
I see hunkis kosher pizza which is pretty close to the farm. Their Menu sounds pretty good. Anyone ever tried their food?

Haven't tried Hunki's... When near that area, my family is partial to Bagel Boss in Hicksville. They have such an expansive menu and bakery. The kids love it and there's something for everyone there; don't let the name fool you.

LI Children's Museum and Cradle of Aviation are both excellent, and right next to each other, plus there used to be a carousel right there as well.

Adventureland has a ton of kiddie rides. It's in Farmingdale which is right near mellville.

Hunkie's in Plainview has very good food - shouldn't be too far
