We will be near Monroe, NY for Shabbos Nachamu.

I am looking for something to do with kids (6 and under) on Sunday. We will be travelling back to Brooklyn Sunday night.

We have already once tried Castle, but it was only interesting for the 6 year old and the younger ones were basically bored or too young.

Anything else along the route from Monroe to Brooklyn?

What is nice for a Bubbie and Zaidie to do near Monroe? (Maybe will take some kids but probably not) and not a lot of walking either.

Last year my SIL vacationed near Monroe:
Ruach Chaim Park - they LOVED it
a dam that you can hike up - may be this: Croton Gorge Park
An old village with activities for the children (or something like that) - maybe this http://museumvillage.org/our-v.....tour/
They really enjoyed

Croton Gorge Park is beautiful, but about 45 mi it's from Monroe. If you want to go that distance, you can go practically anywhere.

There is Gonzago Park and Goose Pond if you want moderate hiking, Schunnemunk Mountain if you want strenuous hiking.

Palisades Center is not far and has cool activities.

If you've been to Museum Village - I can see walking between the exhibits but is it all standing at each one? and no a/c I presume?

Thanks for all who responded with ideas.

We were at Castle a few weeks ago so I highly doubt anything has been added since.

The park near KJ could be interesting if the weather is nice.

I'll be checking out the other places online.
