We are traveling by car to Niagara falls any ideas where we can stop otw?
dh does not want to drive for so many hours.
would you know if a birth certificate is enough for a child under 15 to cross the border?

You can visit us! We're about 4 - 4.5 hours from NY, about 3 - 3.5 hours from Niagara.
We took a 10 year old across the border with a birth certificate.

We stopped over in Syracuse and it worked out very well. They have minyan there and a beautiful park along the water.....

We just did this. We stopped in Syracuse. We did the Onondaga State Park, which has Archery, Bike Rentals, and a really nice playground. We also did the MOST (Museum of Science and Technology ) which everyone really enjoyed by , my husband and I included. And the Grand State fair ishare going on right now , looks fun.

We stayed at a marriot residence inn which we love because of the suites, fill kitchen and free breakfast with lots of kosher options
