Which schools in the 5 towns would be good for a child with adhd? He's not hyperactive, just very inattentive. He's academically advanced, but struggles with attention, executive function, and social skills. He gets services. There is no reason he can't be in a regular school as long as he has support and understanding. He will be in 1st grade next year.

I have ADHD kid in HAFTR and have only the most positive things to say about the school, the teachers and the administration. They are so on top of things and provide a very supportive environment. After being in 3 other schools, he is thriving.

Thank you. Does anyone know about HALB, YOSS, YKLI, or Darchei? Would any of those be good for a kid who needs some extra support?

Darchei is known to work with boys who have learning challenges.

Not from my experience. They maintain the kid but don't actively provide support for the kid.
