My daughter had worms. She got a dose (5 ml) of vermox last week. The doctor said to give the second dose after 2 weeks and the pharmacist said after 8 days. The doctor is at a conference, and his office said he will get back to me, but it's not clear when. We're at day 8 now. Anyone remember what day the end dose should be given on?

The doctor is correct, it's 2 to 3 weeks after the first dose.
Vermox is the BEST. I don't use anything else.

Where did u get vermox? They were discontinued for along time! Supposed to take it 10-14 days later

It's sold over the counter in New Zealand, and you can order it from Kiwidrugs.com
Shipping can take a while, so I order a bunch and keep them on hand. I treat the whole household and the dogs.

takes at least 10-14 days for new eggs to hatch then u take it again to kill it if u take it too early then u won't get rid of it totally

Thanks guys! 2 weeks sounds like the average here, and it's what the doctor said, so I'll hold out (so far so good anyway).
To the poster who asked where I got it, I live in Israel, vermox is available here by prescription.

My Dr said, three evenings before bed in a row, then once a week later.
