I'm looking for a simple, delicious flapjack recipe. All the recipes online call for butter or margarine- I don't have a milchig oven and prefer not using margarine. Anyone know a recipe using oil?
Thanks!!

I use the one on allrecipes called fluffy pancakes. It's really good.
It does use butter but you melt it so subbing oil should be ok. Not as good obviously, but ok.

Do you mean pancakes:
1 1/2 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 C sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. oil
1 C milk or soymilk
Combine all ingredients. Spray a griddle or very flat frypan with cooking spray. Heat griddle, then lower heat to medium. Drop spoonful of batter onto hot griddle. When puffy bubble holes start appearing on the surface, flip to cook the other side.
This keeps in the fridge for a week, so refrigerate leftover batter for tomorrow's breakfast.
