I work and kids have mid winter break . Older ones want to bake my cookies for purim. Is it too early? How would I store them in freezer for 6 weeks?

I have a freezer the type that is not frost free, that I use to store baked goods, wrap it very well and it won't get a freezer taste.

Yes you can. Make sure you cover it very tightly and use a few layors of foil.

As long as you wrap them well, I wouldn't worry.

Like everyone else said, should be fine if you wrap them well.

What's the best way to store them? Ziploc bags? Containers?

I have heard that the best way is in air-tight containers.

Personally, I would use Ziploc bags AND air-tight containers. Better safe than sorry.
