What is something interesting instead of Chrain (Horseradish) for those that refrain from using anything Chrain until Hoshana Raba?

mayo, mayo plus ketchup, any (maybe most) dips - tomato, dill, whatever dip you see in your local supermarket (if you live in the big community), "green" mayo (has scallions and parsley - if you are interested, I can post the recipe - it's yummy!)

My husband mixes mayo with honey... I know it sounds gross, but it's actually pretty good.

Mix mayo with dill (preferably fresh) and some of the jell from your fish. If your minhag allows mustard or lemon juice, add a little of either one as well.

We bake the fish in tomato sauce so no need for sauce.
But it depends on what you want to use; if you avoid lemon juice bes. vinegar, it lets out tarter sauce, mayo and parsley, etc.

I know it's a little late for this year, but my favorite is guacamole. When avocados are scarce, I use chummus. (Not a fan of chrain.)
