The subject line says it all. We have an upcoming simcha, iy'h and I'm looking for something for dd. Doesn't have to be an actual gown just a very nice dress - for a wedding will suffice.
Most of the children's gemachs or rentals start at size 2T. Anyone know of a place that has smaller sizes? Or does anyone own such a dress/gown who is willing to rent/lend it out?

Oh wow- thank you so so much for looking out for me!  (so touched!) We're actually looking at something specific right now that's completely black, but it's great to know about this option as well.

I have a dress which I made for my daughter when it was my son's bar mitzvah. That daughter is going to be 16 next month, Kein Ein Hora.
I think she was closer to 2 or 3 at the time, though. It is black velvet with a silvery lace over the skirt area, but I think it may be too big.
and it kinda can't be shortened from the bottom because the lace has a self edge.
Let me know if you can't find anything, maybe we can work something out.
The dress is a bit scratchy underneath though, so would need something underneath to help that.
