I remember reading that you can saute a lot of onions in the oven. Could somebody please tell me the process. Thanks in advance.

Cover it with oil and leave in the oven for two hours. Not sure of the temperature.

I have done this many times with recipe from ami.
fill 9 ×13 with chopped onions mixed with 1/4 c oil and 1 and 1/2 tsp salt.
cover and bake at 350 for 3 to 4 hrs, stirring every so often.
Then you can freeze them in ziploc bags for later use, if you like.
