I live in Europe, (don't want to disclose where as I live in small place and don't want to out myself).
I'm flying to NY in a week I'm super excited as I haven't been there more than 10 years!
What would you buy there that you can't/ hard to find here ?

Lidl and ikea and many other shops sell great ziploc style bags. Where do you live????
I can get saran wrap too. Also peanut butter from the kosher store.
I bring home those big bags of twizzlers and other junk food from ny.

I used to bring home lots of stuff. Then the airlines cut their luggage allowances so I have hardly any space. I mostly bring home treats as I said. You can get most things in Europe, but obviously depends where you are. And in some things, like chalav yisrael cheese, there is a better selection and quality available in Europe.
I might go to a supermarket and see if there is anything unusual I might want. Sauces and so on.

I need a new computer, so I'd buy that there, it's cheaper than UK so you get better value for money. My phone would have been cheaper to buy there too, so I suggest you consider electronics like that, that you need now or will need in the foreseeable future.

Oh yes I buy stuff like tichels and skirts that are hard to find outside of frum places. Judaica (books, seforim, DVDs) is usually cheaper in NY.

Best tights are European. Think Falke and all.
I have no idea why you would buy bandanas abroad, either.
Make up brands that you can't find here, sure. Some food items, sure.

In general I find that prices are often better in the states / NY than elsewhere. So I hold off on many purchases so I have a larger range of options that are affordable for me.
Also, if you're in a community with limited kosher restaurants, definitely take advantage of the food scene in NY.

I don't know how it is in Europe, but my SIL who lives in Israel always asks for American make-up, face creams, lotions.
For example, A revlon 24 hr lipstick in Israel costs $80-$100.
Also, sneakers.
Don't know if this applies to Europe.

LOL, not all Europeans live in England. No Primark, George or Suh here. No brown sugar either.
