Verizon internet is lousy, Im always losing internet. Phone has static. Its time to change, but to which company?

Switch to fios. Ask Verizon is they have it in your area.

I think thats way more money and I dont think it will change static on my phone line.

Fios should get rid of static. The static comes from open wires that aren't connected well usually.
Anyway switching to a different company won't change anything here. All the wires are serviced by verizon, if you have a problem and call your company they have to call verizon to fix it.
You can try calling verizon and explaining your problem. They should send someone down to fix it, (you can ask that guy to move your line to different wires and see if that helps.)
I had that done when my phone kept going off every few months from bad weather.

Changing to a great deal won't help your static issue, it will just make it harder to get it fixed. Fix that issue while on verizon (since verizon services their customers much quicker than anyone that goes to sub companies) and then switch to a cheaper company.

My grandmother has optimum. She pays $36 per month. Personally I have xchange.

The problems of very slow internet and static come and go every month. They fix and a short while later Im back at square one.
