My baby has fever. The only medicine I have in the house in liquid acetaminophen for children. It didn't say what the dosage is for babies. I calculated what I think is right but please check my math. My baby isn't feeling better which is why I am questioning myself.
The medicine has 160mg/ 5 ml
My baby weighs 22 lbs.
I gave 3.75 ml.
Please confirm if this was right.

The dose for a 22 lb child is 1 tsp (5ml).
Medically it's 1 tsp for 10 kg which equals 22 lbs.
If you look online it will usually say 18-23 lbs is 3.75ml, but that's because they typically slightly underdose so parents won't overdose.
You can check with your child's ped but in our office we dose at 1 tsp for 22 lbs.

This. My pediatrician told me I can give 5 ml already at 21 lbs. Rather give a bit under than too much for parents that are not careful.
