I thought all Chasidim eat in the Sukkah on Shmini Atzeres and have two nights of hakafos.

I took my kids to hakafos on simchas torah night, they had a childrens program at the big shul of our community. then in the afternoon the next day I brough them to shul and they danced with thier tatty and had a great time.

my father is part of a chassidish shul---we never did hakafot on shmeni atzeret.
Satmar minhag, (my fathers family is from the actual town of satmar) was to not eat in the sukkah shmeni azeret by night, but to have kiddush and mezonot on shmeni azeret day.
