DH and I are watching out weight and would like an experience a notch above a pizza shop on our upcoming visit to Lakewood. Which restaurants would you recommend? Thanks!

Pizano is a bit nicer tHan a pizza store and has yummy salads, fish, grilled veggie wraps, and sushi. Upper crust on kennedy and ottimo are higher end, sit down waiter dairy places and also have delicious soups, salads, fish, paninis, ottimo has a veggie lasagna. I'm sure more options too. Look at their menus online. All meat places I've been to have grilled chicken, salads, sushi, and steamed chicken and veggie options plus more. Also a bug thing is shani taub and tanya menus , some places have this and they are very dietetic. Meat place would be glatt bite, dairy is j2 pizza. Could be more but I don't follow their plans.

Upper crust down the 9 in todd plaza is a pizza store that also has salads. Don't confuse the 2 upper crusts!
