I have a two year old who has been sleeping through the night since he was 8 months old all of a sudden 3 weeks ago he started waking up at around 1:30am and he stays up for like 3 hours. He doesn’t cry or kvetch he is just up. He has always been a good sleeper so this doesn’t make any sense to me. I tried taking away his nap or putting him to sleep later nothing works. Did anyone experience the same thing and what did you do to get them back on schedule. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I’m exhausted!!!

If he doesn't cry or kvetch, then why do you have to stay up with him?
If he won't stay quiet after he's woken up, put some safe toys in his crib with him when you put him to bed and have a good night's sleep yourself.

just after he started this shtick of waking up he started to climb out of his crib, so he comes into my bed, into my husbands bed but he cant get comfortable so he doesnt fall asleep and then neither can we.
I will try to put some toys in his crib though, thanks

No one else has ever experienced this??? We just went to the Dr. and he said he could have a sleeping disorder and it will go away just like it came. But in the mean time I NEED TO SLEEP, I also forgot to add that I have a one year old who is teething and is waking up constantly I feel like a zombee, anyone have suggestions???
