You'll see that people spend $25-30 on "Yom tov" pajamas that are velour/a bit dressier.

yes yt is yom tov but I am looking for nicer pjs but dont wanna spend over $10. I usually like old navy pjs but they dont seem so cheap.

It's everywhere and I am guilty of that too although I usually spend 20 a pair. I get matching with robes for my dd and pajamas for my 2 ds.
I think they r nice and it's amazing to have something to put on them weekly after their bath.

Never heard of such a thing. The only reason I'd buy special yom tov pj's was if I thought it would get my kids to bed earlier on yom tov, and/or nap in the afternoon, cos they'd be so excited to wear them
Are they just for yt, and not for Shabbos? If so, wouldn't your kids wear them about 6 times and then grow out of them. I mean how my yt's are there per year?
How about boying cheap pj-s (I don't know, in Israel I know I could buy for ~30 shekels) and embroider on then "CHAG SAMEACH" or something.
There's innovation for you!!
(Please don't scream at me for commenting on fashion and beauty when I have no interest in it - I know I'm guilty)
