I think it's just a cute idea-we beat them, let's eat their food. ;-)

There's no problem with eating foods from other cultures, even if they hate us. Why create issues where none exist?

Seriously we can learn wisdom from the non jews too, and if the only thing we can learn good is their food so why not Twisted Evil

you never eat Sauerkraut or sausages?
shnitzels? kreplach? Lokshen Kugel?

(I looked up german food and found all these typical ashkenazi dishes)

Ok I lose , It appears choc moose has sent vibes over here and I have been outvoted Sad . We have decided to stay with Chanukah Style refreshments and leave Greek for another era. But 4 those who tried THanks Tongue Out

true for ashkenazi dishes

and chulent is said to be a form of choucroute (sauerkraut?).

but my dh said mouse isn't kosher

I'm pretty sure it is kosher (moose that is) Ruchel.
