Can you post how much it costs per couple or per plate with various caterers.

Please post the location, hall, caterer name and cost.

If you know of any other fees, please add that in too (mashgiach fee, hall fee etc?)

I would love to hear a range, anywhere in the continental USA

TIA

Care to narrow down the geographic area?

Do you want estimates from Israel for example? (Here, the catering is about NIS 250-400 and is usually provided by the venue, and costs are quoted per person and includes not just food but also the hall and a bunch of other services. Costs vary according to number guests, season, fanciness of hall/event garden, location, etc.)

You can also find much cheaper and much more costly options.

If this is not in connection with a wedding that you're making, can you explain what you'll be using the information for?

Per person. There is no upper limit to what a wedding can cost.

$50 may be too high even. You probably could find less.

In my circles $50 a couple is cheap. The norm is about $75. Some halls more some less.

Takana weddings- cost a lot less, all inclusive price

Any where from $50p/p and up, way up, hard to find, but maybe even less.

I think now days a modest nice wedding is about $75,
But, it depends

If you have it in some hotels, the hotel wants to be in charge of the liquor and they will charge you starting at $50- $75 p/p. Then on top of that you need to pay the caterer,
With no liquor the hotel alone is $25-$35, then starts the caterer's fee.

Some halls have packages, flat fee for x amount of people.

The higher end halls in Brooklyn are $115+ per couple. There are plenty of upgrades if you want to spend even more.

The cost is not different for frum weddings, but again, it depends on the crowds you hang out with.

There are frum weddings in a shul basement and there are frum weddings at the Waldorf Astoria.

Takana weddings will be cheaper, of course.

From my community, we are Sephardi, it's $150+ per person. $50 is so cheap by our halls in Brooklyn. But of course all depends which package deals you want
