Does the meat need to be 'alone' in the oven to be cooked best? Or can I put the chicken in also and I'll take it our in middle (bc meat needs to be cooked a long time)?

I do both. If your recipe calls for different temperatures, though, then it wont help you. But meat is pretty hearty. It should be fine.
